Our Mission

Welcome people as they are,

share Jesus as He is, &

serve the community with love

Welcome! Glad you’re here! The Warren United Church, United Church of Christ, an Open and Affirming congregation, strives to live our mission in everything we do.  We seek, in many ways, to be a light on a hill – for this community and beyond – affirming that God is still speaking.

A Note from Missions – Thank you! (Updated 3/20/23)

Missions is pleased to announce that $1,750 was received from our generous giving congregation towards earthquake relief efforts in Syria and Turkey. This will be combined with the $5,000 that we have delegated for international relief this year. We will be sending $6,750 to Doctors Without Borders to go directly to their work in Syria and Turkey. We are so grateful for this congregation’s support of our outreach!

‘Seeking’ Lenten Series (in worship, at home, and in newsletters during Lent)

We are trying a new thing during Lent 2023 at the Warren United Church, and you are invited to journey with us. “Throughout this season, we hope you will continually ask yourself: what am I seeking? What is God seeking? This Lent, we invite you to engage in the spiritual practice of seeking. We encourage you to stay curious, open, and nimble. We hope you will soften your assumptions and expand your perspectives. We pray that these questions will create a safe space to explore—to be drawn more deeply into the fullness of life, into the heart of God.” @sanctifiedart
