Welcome!
Here are a few ways to get connected and involved at the Warren United Church. There are many more, and we would love to talk with you more about how you would like to be involved or how you would like the church to get involved in something you are doing or that is important in the community.
We will continue to update this with new opportunities to get involved:
Current Volunteer Opportunities

Join us at the church for worship Sundays at 10:00!
Want to read scripture? Offer a prayer? Sing or play music? Lead another part of worship? Let us know! We truly enjoy having folks participate in Sunday services. Email the church or come to a service one Sunday and one of our worship leaders – musicians, deacons or pastor would be more than happy to talk more about serving and getting involved.

The first Sunday of each month we share communion as a congregation, and we have all church hospitality, which means anyone who can brings a snack to share after the service.
Sign up for the church’s weekly newsletter for opportunities to get involved in Missions or to receive announcements for special services, events, community resources and more. You can sign up for the newsletter on our homepage (left top).
Meet with our Pastor or one of our Deacons to learn more about the church. We are here to support you and look forward to connecting with you. Contact Rev. Erin at reverinreardon@gmail.com or email the church at warrenunitedchurch@gmail.com to set up a time to meet.
Get connected with families with youth and the Christian education ministry, events and opportunities. Some of these are included in the newsletter, but we also have an email list for families with youth, that we use occasionally for planning events or special days/services. Email the church or contact Kasey or Rev. Erin.

Gather with the Prayer Group on Tuesday mornings at 8:30am. It is a great group! Truly, you are welcome here. No matter what’s going on in your life. No matter how you feel about prayer or about church. This is a supportive, caring group that walks beside one another and weekly lifts up those in our congregation, wider community, nation and world. Hot tea is served.
Meditate with a group (some from the church, some local, and some out of state!) online Wednesday nights at 7pm. Don Rhoades is our guide. This group is for people of faith as it is for people of no faith or multipath. The group is inclusive and welcoming of all who wish to find peace within themselves and wish the same for our communities, nation and world.
Women at the Well
Folks in the congregation take turns cleaning the church. This involves emptying small trash cans, vacuuming, cleaning the bathrooms, wiping down the kitchen and other common spaces. If you are willing to serve in this way, contact the church. We thank everyone who cares for our communal spaces!
If you are interested in leadership or other opportunities at the church, please contact Freddie Mahlmann, the church’s Moderator, or email the church at warrenunitedchurch@gmail.com
